I landed up only taking a few courses this semester and figured that I have too much time on my hands so I started a blog. Along with speaking to some of my friends that are in a similar boat as I am. That boat is we all on our way to getting degrees but what do we do with them.
When we graduate high school the norm is to go to a post secondary school and get more education because entry level jobs in North America required degrees. If we could ask little 13 year old Kirsty what her dream was, it was to be a musician and now Kirsty has no idea what or where she is meant to be in this world. We all know that there are billions of youtube sensations trying to make the big leagues so musician is far to competitive.
I think there has to be millions of 20 year olds in a similar situation, where we all know how to be students but we don't know what we actually want out of life or a job or a career etc etc.

Well, it could be worse: racking up debt, jobless, homeless and a bunch of other things. Student life isn't all that it is cut out to be, I am so tired of eating noodles, KD (Kraft Dinner) or rice (student's know what I am talking about). It is time for a real job earning real money and being an adult.
Then the little voice in my head says "do what you love and you will never work a day in your life."
[sigh]
What is that thing that I love, what is that thing that I can't go through life without doing. I am driving myself insane trying to figure out what I am good at. Been a student for 5 years I know how to write reports, read textbook and deal with stress so pretty much learn.... great!
So that's why I started a blog, it's not all depressing I promise but I just want to let everybody know that we all in a similar situation and thats okay.
IT'S CALLED LIFE AND YOU JUST HAVE TO LIVE!
